SPGG IN-HOUSE POOL LEAGUELeague Format Over 10-Weeks With Everybody Playing Each Other.Entry Fee: $25/Person (Inclusive of Table Charge)If both players are unable to make it on weekdays. They are able to play on weekends at SPGG but at the rate of $4/hr and it would be a shared table cost between both players meaning $2/hr. However they need to inform their captains and pay up by thursday if they wish to do so. 8-Ball Race to 4 With Alternate Breaks.Ladies 1 Rack Handicap & 8-Ball Handicap ( No need pot 8-ball to win rack but must clear respective solid/stripe balls)Closing Date : 29th OctoberHand in Your Name, Admin No. , Contact No & Entry Fee to your captain. All Match fixtures, results & standings would be posted up by the weekend on this blog.Prize Money will be awarded up till the 8th place if we have a minimum of 40 people. Rules & Regulation.Standard 8-ball Rules except for a change in 1 rule. 8-ball potted on the break (except the side pockets) would be considered a golden break. Stalemate may be called if the game is not heading in any direction. Rack would be replayed.Shot Clock Can be called by the opponent if the other player is playing too slowly. 35s Shot Clock. And it will remain that way for the rest of the game for both players. In the case of a Shot Clock being called an observer have to help time the players and give them 10s warning. If they fail to shoot after 10s, it would results in a foul and ball in hand for the other player.

1stly I will start with the good news I would like to say i that i've been given the go ahead for the pool league. So it will commence in novemeber and may run for a minimum of 2 weeks. May even consider playing through to the Dec holidays as most people are free during that time. More details to be out soon.2nd SPGG is going to review the price of table charges soon. Currently as we all know we pay $5 for table charges AS SP STUDENTS. However in future this would no longer be an offer for us and the $5 would only be for SPGG STUDENT MEMBERS. Simply put none of us are SPGG student members so we would not be able to enjoy the $5 entitled to us if they decide to change the rules.So the Management came up with a solution to pay the SPGG student membership over 10 months installment at $20/month. not inclusive of the $5 table charge. However i'm still asking them if they could forfeit the $5 table charges until we pay finish the $20 installment for 10 months.3rdly this is to make clear of something that has been going on recently. Philip will not teach system if u consistently go for his training. Training now is just to improve yourself on your weak points and not learn new things. System is module 3 and you need to pay him a separate fee if you wish to learn new things. Lastly i'm calling an emergency meeting on the 19th of oct at 6pm at SPGG. All must turn up. If not we risk getting closed down. Thank You very much

Training Fees has been changed to as followed.$25 - Philip's Training Fee$5 - Table Time At SPGG$5 - Pool FundOverall $35/month. However this does not include the table time at GF during trg. So when there's trg at GF, we have to pay for own tables which will amount to at most $5/trg if there are a minimum 10 people. In Nov. There is a high possibility that we may have an in-house SPGG pool league. I will also be inviting moberly side over to join as well. If the management gives the green light, the plan would be as followed.Gameplay : 8-ball race to 4. Girls will have 1 rack handicap and need not pot the 8-ball to win.Entry Fee : $20 (Inclusive of table Charges)League Format over 5-7 weeks depending on the amount of people. 4-6 Matches / Week. Match fixtures & results would be displayed on the weekends.Matches are to commence on their own time and target at SPGG. Score card to be collected from either the SPGG captain/vice captain/treasurer.Score cards must be submitted by the end of the week.Prize Money of $600 are based on 40 people. Top 8 People At the end of the league would recieve prize money. Prize money would be adjusted accordingly if there are more/less than 40 people. These are the current plans. BBQ cum Chalet
The venue for the bbq/chalet will be at Goldkist Beach Resort unit E08 we will be checking in around 3pm on sat(10/09/09). Those iron chefs-wannabees can come at 4/5 to help start the bbq! Also just to help those who do not know how to get there this is a dumb-proof method- use this link . So tentatively the schedule is as follows:
230-3pm Check-in
3-5pm Relax, Prepare food, Cycle, Build Sand-castles, play with the sea water
5-7pm Start the BBQ, cook, eat, have fun talk cock sing song
7-10pm Eat some more, talk, walk on the beach, philip should be playing poker by now
For those who want to stay over, I think the room can only squeeze about 7 people max...anymore than that would result in uncomfortable sleeping positions. Therefore if you want to stay over, just send me(matthew) a msg. Also I would encourage the consumption of alcohol so, if you still have half a bottle of absolut at home just bring it! =DDDD
