SPGG pool team was formed in the year 2004 by a group of students who decided to form it due to their passion and love of it. The team was created to seek students who have talents or passion for the game but did not have a chance to show it to others. Thus the team was formed to polish these diamonds in the rough and help them improve their game. Also on the other hand, there are also trainings for people who wants to play the game but did not even lift up a cue before, so the team had another new mission that is to teach students who are new and have a willing heart to learn and get a hold on the game.

Currently the team has grown from 7 in numbers to a strength of 26 members. The team is currently under the supervision of Captain Sino Chong and Vice-captain Ridwan. The team is under the training coach Phillip. He has scheduled trainings and competions for the team members and is always on the lookout for talents and groom them in to professional players.
Thus the team has been growing since his trainings. With the captain and vice captain working with the coach, the future of SPGG pool club is promising.

During the trainings, the students are always eager to learn and will be determined to challenge each other to improve and climb up the ranks. With a ranking system, each player will be challenged and will strive for their best. With tips from the coach himself, each player has the opportunity to learn the most from him and use it on the table.

The pool hall has 6 professional table and the facilities there are of tip top condition. Maintenance of the table are done daily and facilities such as the poolside cafe, bowling alley, arcade and swimming pool are open to all. So when we are tired or hungry, the facilities in SPGG provide the best options for your needs.
