If you are chosen to go for a tournament and you refuse to play(except for people with valid reasons). Be prepared not to get chosen to represent the team again. For Snooker friendlies I understand as we are pool team. But for pool friendlies/tournaments we will be harsh to those who give us problems.
If you happen to fluke a shot. Be courteous and raise your hand in apology(or scratch your head in an embarrasseing way like what Efren Reyes does when he fluked a shot). Do not go laughing it off. As it reflects badly on both you as a player and towards the team.
Before & after every game. Its advisable to shake hands(no harm shaking longer if it is a girl^^) . Say Good luck, exchange names and numbers(if its a girl).
During the game, if a guy makes a good shot, do not walk to the table just to tap it and say good shot or something, it actually tends to irritate some players.
When its not your turn. try to stay far away from the table. Do not stand at the table and chalk your cue and disturb your opponent. Likewise if your opponent is standing around the table disturbing you, make sure you wait for your opponent go to away before shooting the ball.
Its best to be humble, shut up at times, do not try to tell others how to place the ball when you cannot even do it(for some year 1s) & reject money games that you cant win. Some of your seniors are very irritated by your actions already.
Its also advisable to practice the things mentioned above during your free play/training time, to make it a habit, so that you will react as REQUIRED during friendlies and competition.
